Poco X3 with Snapdragon 732G SoC, 120Hz display, 6000mAh battery launched in India

Poco, on Tuesday, has launched the Poco X3 smartphone in India via an online event. The phone is the successor to the Poco X2 that was launched in February 2020. The Poco X3 is IP53 certified for water and dust resistance and comes in Cobalt Blue and Shadow Grey color options.

Poco X3 specifications

Poco X3 features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10 support, and brightness up to 450 nits. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G (2 x 2.3 GHz Kryo 470 Gold & 6 x 1.8 GHz Kryo 470 Silver) chipset paired with Adreno 618 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It also supports microSD cards of up to 256GB.

In terms of optics, the Poco X3 sports a quad-rear camera setup of 64 MP f/1.73 Sony IMX682 primary sensor, 13 MP f/2.2 119-degree ultrawide angle lens, 2 MP f/2.4 macro camera, and 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor. For selfies, it has a 20 MP f/2.2 punched in the display. The phone comes with a non-removable 6000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging technology.

Connectivity options included are dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G LTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro USB Type-C port. Sensors include proximity, gyroscope, accelerometer, ambient light, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The phone measures 165.3 x 76.8 x 9.4 mm and weighs 215 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Poco X3 is priced at Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant cost Rs. 18,499. The top variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB is priced at Rs. 19,999. The phone will be available for purchase via Flipkart in India, starting September 29, noon.
