Poco has officially launched the Poco M4 Pro 5G smartphone in India on Tuesday as a successor to the Poco M3 Pro 5G which was launched in June last year. This handset was originally launched back in November 2021 for international markets.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate and DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. It runs on MIUI 12.5 for Poco based on Android 11 and will receive MIUI 13 update in a few weeks.
It has an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The storage space can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, compass and IR blaster are available onboard sensors.
For photos and videos, it comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.8 lens) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie shooter (f/2.45 lens).
This smartphone also has dual stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio certification, an x-axis linear vibration motor and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W Pro fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Pricing and Availability
The Poco M4 Pro 5G price in India starts at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option. The 6GB + 128GB configuration will cost Rs. 16,999 and the top model with 8GB + 128GB storage carrier price tag of Rs. 18,999. It will be available in Cool Blue, Poco Yellow, and Power Black colour options. The sale for this smartphone is going to begin at 12pm (noon) on February 22. It will be sold online through Flipkart.
