Oppo A57e with MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, 6.56-inch HD+ display, 5000mAh battery launched in India

Oppo has launched the affordable A57e smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.56-inch HD+ water drop notch display, MediaTek Helio G35 processor, 5000mAh battery, 13-megapixel primary sensor, Bluetooth version 5.2, ultra Liner stereo speaker, and runs Android 12 operating system based ColorOS 12.1 out of the box.

Oppo A57e features a 6.56-inch HD+ (720 x 1612 pixels) IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 12nm (4 x 2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4 x 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) chipset paired with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card via a dedicated slot for expandable storage.

Oppo A57e comes with a dual-rear camera setup of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, it has an 8-megapixel sensor on the front with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh non-removable battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth version 5.2, 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and OTG. Sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric authentication. Lastly, the phone measures 163.7 x 75 x 8 mm and weighs 187 grams.
