OnePlus TV U1 and OnePlus TV Y1 series launched in India

OnePlus has launched OnePlus TV U1 and OnePlus TV Y1 series in India. The OnePlus TV Y1 series is available in 32-inch and 43-inch models, while the OnePlus TV U1 comes in a single 55-inch model.

OnePlus TV Y1 series specifications

The OnePlus TV Y1 32-inch model features an HD (1366 x 768 pixels) LED display, and the 43-inch model features a Full-HD (1920 x1080 pixels) LED display. Both panels support DCI-P3 color gamut, anti-aliasing, noise reduction, dynamic contrast, and color space mapping. Both models are powered by a 64-bit processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

Both models come with two 10W speakers with support for Dolby Audio. Connectivity options included are Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, one ethernet port, two HDMI ports, two USB ports, one AV input, one optical audio port, and one RF connection input.

The TV runs Android TV Pie (9.0) OS out of the box and comes with preloaded apps that include Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Netflix, and Google Play Store. The TV has Chromecast built-in for casting media, and Google Assistant built-in for controlling the TV with voice.

OnePlus TV U1 55-inch model specifications

The OnePlus TV U1 55-inch model features a 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) LED display with DCI-P3 color gamut, HLG, HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support. The panel also supports MEMC, anti-aliasing, noise reduction, dynamic contrast, super-resolution, and color space mapping. The TV comes with a 30W speaker (2 x high frequency and 2 x full frequency) configuration and supports DTS-HD, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Audio.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, one ethernet port, three HDMI ports (HDMI1 support ARC), one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port, one AV input, one optical audio port, and one RF connection input.

Pricing and availability

The OnePlus TV Y1 series 32-inch model is priced at Rs. 12,999, and the 43-inch model is priced at Rs. 22,999. The OnePlus TV U1 55-inch model is priced at Rs 49,999. The OnePlus TVs are available for pre-booking on the Amazon India website, and the customers will also get a 2-year extended warranty on pre-booking. The TVs will go on sale starting July 5, 2020, via Amazon, and will be available to purchase from OnePlus Experience stores soon.
