OnePlus has launched its first truly wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds in India. The earbuds are available in White, Gray, and Nord Blue color options. The OnePlus Buds comes with an IPX4 rating that protects the earbuds from water splashes.

OnePlus Buds specifications

The OnePlus Buds truly wireless earbuds are powered by 13.4 mm dynamic drivers and uses Bluetooth version 5.0 technology for connectivity. Each earbud comes with a 35mAh battery, and the charging case includes a 420mAh battery. The earbuds can provide up to 7 hours of playback time and up to 4 hours of the phone call. With the charging case, it can provide up to 30 hours of music playback time while playing music with the volume set at 50 percent, in AAC mode.

The charging case with earbuds takes up to 80 minutes to get fully charged. It also supports fast charging, 10 minutes of charging can deliver up to 2 hours of playback time with the earbuds, and with the charging case, it can deliver up to 10 hours of music playback. The charging case uses a USB Type-C port for charging.

The earbuds support low latency mode, fast pairing, and environmental noise cancellation. The earbuds also support Dolby Atmos, but only when using it with the OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T, 7T Pro, 8, 8 Pro devices while the Dirac Audio Tuner is supported only on OnePlus Nord devices.

Pricing and availability

The OnePlus truly wireless earbuds are priced at Rs. 4,990 and will go on early sale on July 31, 2020, via the OnePlus India website. The earbuds will be available for open sale starting August 4, 2020, via online and offline retail stores in India, including the OnePlus India website, Amazon India website, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, OnePlus offline stores, and Chroma.
