State-owned telecom service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) earlier this week brought in a multifold increase in the FUP limits for existing MTNL FTTH customers in Mumbai circle. As a result of the multifold increase, MTNL FTTH customers in Mumbai circle can now enjoy seamless browsing experience with better FUP limits.
MTNL’s 50 Mbps VDSL/FTTH plan has been revised to offer 600GB data instead of 150GB whereas the 100 Mbps VDSL/FTTH plan has been revised to offer 500GB data instead of 130GB. The monthly rental of both the plans remains unchanged at Rs 600.
MTNL’s 50 Mbps VDSL/FTTH plan at monthly rental of Rs 800 has also been revised to offer 1000GB data instead of 220GB. The 100 Mbps VDSL/FTTH plan priced at same monthly rental has been revised to offer 900GB instead of 200GB.
“Multifold increase in the present FUP limits of the existing MTNL FTTH customers. Enjoy seamless browsing experience with higher FUP limits,” said MTNL Mumbai in a notice on its website.
MTNL’s 50 Mbps VDSL/FTTH plan at monthly rental of Rs 1000 will now offer 1500GB data instead of 350GB whereas the 100 Mbps VDSL/FTTH plan at the same price point will now offer 1400GB data instead of 300GB.
MTNL’s 50 Mbps VDSL/FTTH plan at monthly rental of Rs 1200 will now offer 2000GB data instead of 500GB whereas the 100 Mbps VDSL/FTTH plan at the same monthly rental will now offer 1900GB data instead of 400GB.
MTNL’s 50 Mbps VDSL/FTTH plan at monthly rental of Rs 1500 has been revised to offer 2800GB data instead of 650GB whereas the 100 Mbps VDSL/FTTH plan at the same price point has been revised to offer 2700GB data instead of 550GB.
Lastly, MTNL’s 50 Mbps VDSL/FTTH plan at monthly rental of Rs 2000 has been revised to offer 4000GB data instead of 1250GB whereas the 100 Mbps VDSL/FTTH plan at the same price point has been revised to offer 3900GB data instead of 1000GB.
The revised benefits are available effective 1st June 2021. The Rs 2000 monthly rental plan notably can only be subscribed in a Combo plan. MTNL Mumbai currently offers FTTH services in 50 Mbps and 100 Mbps to its customers.
