State-owned telecommunications service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited in March extended the promotional additional FUP limit for Fiber to the Home (FTTH) plans for a further extended period. It has also reopened the FTTH 1500 plan for new bookings.
According to an MTNL circular last month, the promotional additional FUP limit for FTTH plans has been extended for a period of six months from 10 March 2020 to 9 September 2020. MTNL is offering 50-2000 GB additional FUP on different FTTH plans under the promotional offer.

MTNL has also reopened its existing FTTH 1500 plan for new booking by customers. The existing FTTH 1500 plan was earlier closed by MTNL for new bookings. FTTH 1500 plan offers 2000GB at a speed of 500 Mbps at a monthly rental of Rs 1500.
OnlyTech had earlier in February reported the revamp of MTNLs 8 Freedom Unlimited plans between Rs 699 to Rs 2299 for the Delhi region. The maximum benefit is added in the Freedom ULD-2299-Combo plan which is now providing 2.5 times more data at the same price while the other 7 plans are revised to offer 1.5 times or 150% more data.
