Motorola has launched the Motorola Edge+ flagship smartphone in India. The device comes in Smoky Sangria and Thunder Grey color options.

Motorola Edge+ features a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) OLED edge display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 (7 nm+) chipset paired with 12GB (LPDDR5) Ram and 256GB (UFS 3.0) storage. It supports a single nano-SIM. The phone is splash resistant and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Motorola Edge+ sports a triple rear camera setup of 108 MP f/1.8 primary camera, 8 MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and 16 MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle lens. Both primary and telephoto lens supports Phase-Detection Autofocus (PADF) and optical image stabilization (OIS). The rear camera supports 6K and 4K recording at 30fps, and 1080p recording at 30/60/120fps. For taking selfies, the phone has a 25 MP f/2.0 camera on the punch-hole display that supports 1080p recording at 30/120fps.

Connectivity features included are dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G VoLTE, 5G SA/NSA, and USP Type-C port. Sensors included are compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, compass, and barometer. The phone has a fingerprint scanner located under the display.

Motorola Edge+ comes with a non-removable 5000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and 15W fast wireless charging technology. It also supports 5W reverse wireless charging technology. The phone runs stock Android 10 out of the box, and Motorola has also promised two major Android upgrades.

The Motorola Edge+ is priced at Rs. 74,999 for the single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The pre-booking of the phone has begun, and it will be available for purchase starting May 26 from Flipkart and retail stores in India. Customers will get Rs. 7500 discount on purchasing the phone through ICICI Bank Credit Cards.
