Motorola Edge 60 Pro with MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme SoC, 6.7-inch pOLED display launched in India

Motorola Edge 60 Pro

Motorola has launched the Edge 60 Pro smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme SoC, 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, Dolby Atmos, and a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 700C primary sensor. Furthermore, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro comes with IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification. The phone runs Android 15 operating system out of the box, and the company promises to deliver three generations of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

Motorola Edge 60 Pro specifications

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro features a 6.7-inch 1.5K (2712 x 1220 pixels) pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 100% DCI-P3 color space, 720Hz PWM Dimming, and 4500 nits of peak brightness. In addition, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection with anti-fingerprint coating and Aqua Touch. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme chipset (1x A715 3.35GHz + 3x A715 3.2GHz + 4x A510 2.2Ghz) paired with Mali-G615 MC6 GPU, up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage.

In terms of optics, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 700C with an f/1.8 aperture, a 50-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide lens with an f/2.0 aperture, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. It also includes a Multispectral 3-in-1 light sensor that can improve exposure, auto white balance, and reduce flicker. The phone packs a non-removable 6000mAh battery that supports 90W TurboPower charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wired charging. The 90W TurboPower charger is included in the box.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G SA/NSA (n1/ n2/ n3/ n5/ n7/ n8/ n20/ n26/ n28/ n38/ n40/ n41/ n77/ n78 bands), NFC, GPS, dual SIM slot (nano + nano), and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, SAR sensor, and an in-display fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 160.69mm × 73.06mm x 8.24mm and weighs 186 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is priced at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs Rs. 33,999. The phone comes in Pantone Dazzling Blue, Pantone Shadow, and Pantone Sparkling Grape color options. It is currently available for pre-order via the Motorola website and Flipkart. Motorola Edge 60 Pro will go on sale in the country starting May 7, 2025.
