Lava, on Friday, launched the Yuva 3 smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.5-inch HD+ 90Hz display, octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging support. Lava Yuva 3 runs on the Android 13 operating system out of the box. The company has promised to deliver Android 14 upgrade and quarterly security updates for two years.

The Lava Yuva 3 features a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 chipset paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card of up to 512GB via a dedicated slot for expandable storage.
In terms of optics, the Lava Yuva 3 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera, an unspecified AI sensor, and a VGA sensor. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera housed in the hole-punch display. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 4G VoLTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Lava Yuva 3 also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The phone measures 164.2mm x 76mm x 8.45mm.
Pricing and availability
The Lava Yuva 3 is priced at Rs. 6,799 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs Rs. 7,299. The phone comes in Eclipse Black, Cosmic Lavender, and Galaxy White color options. Lava Yuva 3 will be available through the Amazon website from February 7, 2024, and via the Lava e-store and retail stores from February 10, 2024.
