Huawei has announced the Huawei Nova 9 SE smartphone on Friday in Malaysia. The latest handset will be available in Crystal Blue, Midnight Black, and Pearl White colour options. It is priced at MYR 1,099 (about Rs. 20,000) for the lone 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and up for pre-order till March 18.

The Huawei Nova 9 SE sports a 6.78-inch full-HD+ Huawei FullView TFT LCD display with 1,080 x 2,388 pixels resolution. It has a 90Hz refresh rate, a 270Hz touch sampling rate, and 16.7 million colours. Weighing about 191g it is 164.64mm x 75.55mm x 7.94mm in dimension.
This smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor paired with Adreno 610 GPU, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs on EMUI 12 and just like other Huawei phones, no Google apps and services are present on it.
There is a quad rear camera setup comprising of a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front houses a 16-megapixel camera in a center punch-hole notch.
It packs a 4,000mAh battery with 66W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging support. Side-mounted fingerprint sensor, gravity sensor, Ambient light sensor, GPS and compass are sensors available. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5, USB Type C, and NFC.
