Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei is planning to launch Magic Book series laptops, and Honor Vision TV in India. Honor Magic Book was first launched in the year 2018 in China. In August 2019, Honor Vision TV was launched in China, and in October 2019, Honor unveiled Vision TV at the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC) in New Delhi.
Charles Peng, the president of Honor India said in a conversation with Gadget 360, “We are bringing our laptops to India maybe at the end of the Q1 or by the beginning of Q2. We are working with the HQ team to meet the demands of the Indian market. Maybe some of them would be the ones that are already launched in China and maybe some would be designed for the Indian market”
Honor Magic Book Specifications
Honor Magic Book sports a 14-inch full HD IPS display. The laptop is available in both Intel and AMD variants. Honor Book intel model features a core i5 processor along with NVIDIA GeForce MX150 (2G VRAM) GPU, while the AMD model features a Ryzen 5-2500U CPU along with AMD Radeon XFR mobile graphics. Both models come with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB solid-state drive. It has one USB-C (multifunctional) port, USB-A 3.0 port, USB-A 2.0 port, HDMI port, and 3.5 mm audio jack. Honor Magic Book runs Windows 10 out of the box.
Recently, Honor has announced the launch of new Magic Book series with 10th generation Intel core processors in China.
Honor Vision TV specifications
The Honor Vision TV features a 55-inch 4K panel with brightness up to 400 nits. The display supports HDR, MEMC (Motion Estimate and Motion Compensation). The TV is powered by a quad-core Honghu 818 chipset paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Honor Vision TV runs Harmony OS, which is a proprietary operating system developed by Honor.
Charles Peng said, “I think Indian people deserve more, deserve better, so not only the TV that can connect to the Wi-Fi. Our product is equipped with our Honghu chipset that differentiates the experience. After the product launch in India, people will know more about our HarmonyOS and will be able to experience our OS.”
The company hasn’t disclosed anything about the price in India or the precise launch date of the product. It is also unclear which Magic Book model will debut in India.
