Google Lens on google

Google Lens is an AI-based image recognition and search tool that lets users translate or find relevant information based on texts and objects in images. It is available on several Google apps, including Google Chrome, Google Photos, and Google Assistant. Now, the search giant has added the Google Lens button to its homepage to allow users a quick visual search right from the search box on Google.com.

The Google Lens button is now available next to the mic button on the search box. Users can click on the Google Lens button and drag and drop images or upload the image for a visual search. Images that contain text will show additional options, including search, copy, listen, and translate. Google vice president of engineering for Search and Lens, Rajan Patel, announced in a tweet on Tuesday.

With Google Lens, users can scan a QR image and get information about it. Google also provides a link for a reverse image search to find the source and authenticity of the image. Users can already access Google Lens on Android, iOS, and macOS devices. However, with the addition of the Lens button on the Google homepage, anyone can easily use the tool via any web browser.
