DoT extends deadline for DPL holders to migrate and update stock on Saral Sanchar

DPL holders given extended deadline till 15th August to migrate and update their stock on Saral Sanchar portal.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has extended the deadline for all DPL holders to migrate and update their stock on the Saral Sanchar portal.

The Telecom Department had last month notified the availability of the Saral Sanchar portal for updation of stock details pertaining to DPL holders. The Department had subsequently launched a data migration module on 29th June 2022 for all licensees not onboarded on the Saral Sanchar portal to migrate their existing license to the portal and to update their stock.

The Department has requested all DPL holders to migrate their licensees and update their stock by 15th August 2022. All future transactions will take place through the Saral Sanchar portal, including the further renewal of the license.

DoT had earlier allowed DPL holders to manually update the details of their stock on the Saral Sanchar portal till 30th June 2022.
