Disney+ Hotstar to live stream Asia Cup and ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 for free on mobile

The free live streaming of these tournaments is limited to the Disney+ Hotstar mobile app, and users will have to subscribe to the streaming service to watch on other devices.

Popular streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar has announced that it will live stream the upcoming Asia Cup and ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 cricket tournaments for free. However, the free live streaming of these tournaments is limited to the Disney+ Hotstar mobile app on Android and iOS devices. Users who want to watch on other devices, such as TVs, Macs, and PCs, will have to subscribe to the streaming service.

For the unaware, the Asia Cup 2023 will begin on August 30 and will take place in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Pakistan will host four games, while Sri Lanka will host the remaining games. Six countries will participate in the tournament, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. The Asia Cup will feature 13 matches in total, with one of the most anticipated matches between India and Pakistan scheduled on September 2 in Kandy, Sri Lanka.

In contrast, the upcoming ICC Men’s World Cup will take place in India. It will start on October 5, 2023, and end on November 19, 2023. Ten countries will be participating in the tournament, and a total of 48 matches will be played. The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the first match of the ICC World Cup 2023 and the final game as well.

The Disney+ Hotstar costs Rs. 899 per year for the Super plan and offers full-HD streaming with Dolby Atoms audio on two devices simultaneously. On the other hand, the Disney+ Hotstar comes in Rs. 299 per month and Rs. 1,499 per year plans. Both offer access to 4K streaming with Dolby Atoms audio on supported titles on up to four devices. The streaming platform will stream both tournaments for free on the mobile app.
