Discovery Communication India’s Over the Top (OTT) platform Discovery Plus will be launching its Android TV app come July. Discovery Plus recently launched on Amazon Fire TV and will expanding its availability pretty shortly.
The development was highlighted in a tweet by the support handle of Discovery Plus India on Twitter which in response to a tweet stated that it will be launching its Android TV app come next month.
Discovery Plus is currently available on Android, iOS, and on the desktop and mobile web along with Amazon Fire TV. The launch on Android TV app will further bolster the presence of Discovery Plus on multiple platforms.
The demand for Android TV app has been high on social media with multiple tweets across last few months asking as to when Discovery Plus would launch its Android TV app. The wait for Discovery Plus users to experience the app on Android TV will finish soon.
