Redmi Smart TV X Series

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Smart TV X series in India. The series include X65, X55, and X50 models. Apart from the panel sizes, all models feature the same specifications, including a 4K resolution screen with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support. Redmi Smart TV X series runs on Android TV 10 OS and comes with a universal search feature that allows users to search for content across 25+ OTT apps.

Redmi Smart TV X series specifications

Redmi Smart TV X series features a 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution panel with Dolby Vision, HLG, HDR10, and HDR10+ support. The TV comes in 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch variants. It has Reality Flow, Vivid Picture Engine, 92 percent DCI-P3, and 85 percent NTSC wide color gamut to provide a better viewing experience. The TV is equipped with 30W speakers and supports Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, DTS Virtual:X, and Dolby Atmos passthrough eARC.

Under the hood, the Redmi Smart TV X series is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek CPU paired with Mali G52 MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. The TV runs on Android TV 10 OS with PatchWall UI and has Chromecast built-in. Video codes supported are AV1, H.265, H.264, H.263, VP8/VP9, and MPEG1/2. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2×2 MIMO), Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB ports, Ethernet, AV, an optical audio port, and a 3.5mm headphone port.

Pricing and availability

The Redmi Smart TV X50 is priced at Rs. 32,999, while the 55-inch model will cost Rs. 57,999. The top-end 65-inch variant is priced at Rs. 57,999. Redmi Smart TV X series will go on sale on March 26 at noon and will be available to purchase via Mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Home and Mi Studio offline stores in the country. Launch offer includes Rs. 2,000 instant discount on ICICI Bank credit cards and EMI transactions during the first sale.

I doubt they are bringing Mi TV 4X 65" in stock again. So you'll have to go with Redmi TV anyway.
