D-VoiS, GTPL, Hathway, One Broadband, and YOU Broadband drop to 2nd position on Netflix ISP Index in June

8 ISPs share rank 1 on the Netflix ISP Speed Index Leaderboard for June 2022 with 3.6 Mbps speed.

Netflix recently released its ISP speed index leaderboard for India for June 2022. D-VoiS, GTPL, Hathway One Broadband, and YOU Broadband dropped from rank 1 in the preceding month to rank 2 in June 2022, as per Netflix’s ISP speed index leaderboard.

7 Star Digital, Airtel, Alliance Broadband, Atria Convergence Technologies, Excitel Broadband, Jio Giga Fiber, SPECTRA and Tata Play Fiber retained rank 1 in June 2022 with 3.6 Mbps speed. In the preceding month, the ISPs stood first with 3.4 Mbps speed each.

D-VoiS, GTPL, Hathway, One Broadband, Syscon Infoway and YOU Broadband stood 2nd in June 2022 with 3.4 Mbps speed. Syscon Infoway moved from rank 3 in May 2022 with 3.2 Mbps speed to rank 2 in June 2022 with 3.4 Mbps speed. The other ISPs at rank 2 maintained their speed compared to the preceding quarter but dropped from rank 1 to rank 2.

BSNL and Tikona stood 3rd in June 2022 with 3.2 Mbps speed. Tikona maintained its position over the previous month but increased from 3 Mbps to 3.2 Mbps speed. BSNL maintained its speed over the previous month but dropped from rank 2 to 3 in June 2022.

MTNL came last on the Netflix ISP speed index leaderboard with 2.6 Mbps speed keeping its performance unchanged over the previous month.

Ok Akamai measure India's average speed at 5.6 Mbps where as Netflix measure peak speed at 2.58 so average will be obviously less. So which one is true ? :u
