Don’t expect discounts from Sony, it will be another Netflix after Zee merger.
Sony Liv should first increase their content and be on par with Netflix and APV.

If they are not able to match those those two they should atleast be on par with D+H

Sonyliv content is way better than disney plus hotstar
Infact recent prime india recent content is not that good
Sonyliv always try to make good content within their budget limitations instead of crappy disney plus soaps

Sony wants to match Price/ARPU with Netflix after Zee merger, but not investing in quality and content, D+HS is also struggling with TV soaps and cheap originals

Sony TV channels will be available on Jio TV+ after August 30th confirms Jio Care support

When DTH players objected to Jio providing live pay TV channels on Jio Tv+ for free, that time Jio said we are only aggregating the channels which are present within the OTT apps (subscription of which is bundled with Jio fiber) and not offering them separately. Now that the OTTs are removing the live channels from their apps Jio is still assuring that they will continue to provide the live stream in Jio Tv+.
How is this being allowed by TRAI? Is it not in violation of the NTO 2.0? The pricing of pay channels is supposed to be the same on every platform of delivery, be it DTH, cable or in this case IPTV. DTH operators charge an NCF whereas broadband operators charge for bandwidth of the plan chosen, rest all is the same.

There is a loophole though. Some channels are free on DD FreeDish like MTV Beats but paid on private cable and DTH.
