I think. like jio sim, these plans are only for competition to remain happy for now and while at the launch, they will give real plans and these may be start like 500 rs upfront and 500 per month!! let us see!!

Overall I also do feel that taking local cheapest BB plan and using fire tv. at the moment is the best thing!!

Jio Fiber without television (own offering) seems not so attractive to me.

For me as of now I feel it is better to stick with my ACT Fiber for internet and Tata Sky for television, I don't use landline.
No need of TV connection separately with Internet and pay tv Apps subscriptions and FTAs on youtube.

Next month will b big day for airtel dishtv merger news rather than Jio dhamaka fibre launching news
Which everyone was thinking
No more excitement remaining?

No, I am no more excited about Jio Fiber. They ruined it with unnecessary extra features which as a result increased prices. Who could have guessed that there prices will go up to 10K just after launch!!

Indians refuses to pay ₹500 for Netflix. They are expecting them to pay ₹10,000 for internet. Meanwhile studios should avoid releasing movies at home. In South Korea they do the same thing. Most movies gets leaked within a month. Have you ever seen movies with hard-coded Korean subtitles? Those movies are leaked by hackers. Also how many calls we make nowadays in general. I don't get the purpose of introducing a fixed landline.

We lack proper infrastructure. I watch cricket on Sony Ten 1 HD on Jio TV. Inspite of having Sony Liv because of bad stream. Plus many shows specially those infotainment and paid content are not available on OTT platforms. And OTT is very expensive as compared to IPTV. For example to watch Fifty Shades Darker on TV. I would have to pay ₹10. Meanwhile to watch on Netflix it would have cost me ₹500.

Guys 10000 and near about plans will be for corporate plans i guess.
Still their existing plans are expensive. Hopefully, they will understand the market and reduce the prices. Remember when Jio launched. They offered first 4gb data + unlimited downloads from (2 am - 5 pm) with unlimited calling for ₹499 for 28 days. Then when they publicly launched. They changed the plan to 2GB data plan for 28 days.
