Can we require live tv if all pay tv broadcasters apps bundled with basic plan?

U can't watch live shows on apps, except sports.

What will u do for entertainment and news ??? I am.not speaking of the shows available on Netflix and prime videos.

Some live news channels were available on Hotstar Sony apps and YouTube and most live shows available on particular broadcaster app or YouTube

I don't think it's that easy to change apps like how we change channels on remote for regular TV

The basic plan will still have an FUP limit so you won't be able to stream as much content through VOD as you would through linear cable TV.

I think FUP limit would be around 2 Mbps which would be fine for video streaming.

If they put FUP below 1 TB on Rs 700 plan, then they will not succeed before local providers

Yes but not if other family members are simultaneously connected to the WiFi using it for other purposes. Also the TRAI mandate for broadband minimum speed is still 512 Kbps so Jio could keep the Post FUP speed for basic plan as 512 Kbps to ensure that subscriber goes for booster data pack for the remainder of the billing cycle. FUP limits and post FUP speeds for higher denomination plans could be higher in steps of 1, 2, 3 and 5 Mbps. True unlimited without FUP for 100 Mbps may begin from 2.5k. There are other ISPs providing good true unlimited plans at high speed at half the price but their availability is very limited, Jio will have a nation wide footprint and will ensure that they make good profits since Mukesh Ambani wants to make the company net debt free in just 18 months from now.
