jio 5g speed is about 250+mbps as i checked 6-7month back. i switched to airtel now.
Bro, as per my area jio fiber team, airfiber depend on mobile tower, 250mbps speed means ur getting good coverage, but don't know how much distance airfiber catch tower signal, just try to send email for below mentioned email, hope u will get positive from jio team

bro, tower is under 1km, none of these people reply.

few days back an official person having @ril.com email came home, checked the speed, noted the issues i mentioned and promised to send the same to right channel saying that i was sending emails to different channels that don't handle these things and they only looking to fix it although it never will get fixed. and at the end as expected, they ignored everything, and mentioned only that i am getting the full 30mbps speed so i shouldn't cancel the conneection and the both pgportal and nch complain is closed.

I already spoken to Theard person, it depends on locality, city vendor for jio and single strength and how many ppls are having services in the city.

never take jio air fiber connection same issue for me as well when i connect vpn , internet will not work, otherwise surfing is ok

i also got air fiber thinking it was good.
the speed and internet seems to be fine, but the router sucks.
you can barely configure that locked down POS of a router.
it won't let you configure the wi-fi at all apart from the name and password.
you can't even set it to bridge mode, so you can use your own router.
the jio call app while kind of works, require you to use their DNS instead of what i like to use and doesn't even work properly most of the time.
why they just didn't use SIP is still a mystery to me.
connecting your own normal landline phone is not even an option as far as i know.
they for some reason blocks some sites for no reason and the ping is horrible that leads to random disconnects from my server while playing minecraft or doing ssh.
also, they seams to throttle the connection sometimes.
the guy while booking promised the OTT services, but got the werst plans you can get on them
the TV part seams to be okay though.
honestly, i will just go back to BSNL they at least let me do what i want with my network and its gets me 100 MBPS for less than what i pay for jio fiber now. just have to buy a new router.

my 2-3 friends have jio air fiber installed and never faced any issue.. jio air fiber is the Best solution in remote areas..
1TB is very less amount. In today's era, especially. FTTH should be widely spread. I don't know how but it should be done anyhow. Reliance has deep pockets and they can do it.
