Fps and refresh rate is different

Buddy they r interconnected 60 Hz is 30 frames per second while 50 Hz is 25 frames per second. These r doubled while content is shot in interlaced format while for progressive scan standard frame rate is maintained. In India most content is shot in interlaced format

They have provided you the correct response. As in India most people have TV sets which support only 50 Hz (PAL) refresh rate hence many OTT platforms prefer to make content available in tbis format...if provided in 60 Hz then TV sets not supporting this format will have a judder effect visible while the content is being streamed. Earlier Disney+Hotstar made live cricket available in 60 Hz format and in my old LG LED TV frame motion was not smooth

As in most European as well as in USA NTSC format is in use hence all movies or TV shows r shot in 60 Hz refresh rate hence when in India OTT platforms or TV Channels have to convert the same to 50 Hz they have to slightly speed up content so that content recorded as per 60 frames per second format can be accommodated in 50 frames per second format
So you're saying Amazon Prime Video is streaming jittery footage ?

These were present on their website since the date of launch of the premium subscription plan. Now the same has been made available in the app as well.
