Jio can't give Jio TV for free to watch on TV as it will come under IPTV. Mobile they can provide as there are already other providers. But it's only limited to be used on phones and cannot be casted on TV

Cant they continue giving this app which can use broadband data and not act as a cable tv service? I think if it is using up data from broadband and installed as an app on android devices, it wouldn't come under TRAI jurisdiction

I think pay tv broadcasters have objections due to subscription revenue loss from DTH & Cable services for this app.

As u can see jiotv app on Android TV stopped working. Jio must have understood that it's not as per new regulations so have stopped it.
