That will make the purpose of 'price hike' meaningless/logic less even Jio haven't any losses. And is similar to 'Free Tsunami' which shedded others.

Because Jio is in profit. They have no problem with current tariff and upcoming tariff. So they are encouraging us.
Economists don't think so. It's all accountancy magic. They have tons of investment and they haven't even started the depreciation which the foremost job for any newly created company. All they have is deep pockets from petro chemical business.

this is text book monopoly, give unsustainable discounts kick other companies out of business = profit.

TRAI has failed to regulate AVOID who were looting customers before and then they turned a blind eye to Jio which did bought a revolution in mobile industry but it was unsustainable and reflects in current network quality in major areas. There has to be a balance between quality and quantity what is the point of 4g when you get 2g speeds and call drops.

Broadband is even reaching to villages these days, fiber broadband i mean. Copper cable broadband are no longer being deployed. It is not the whole India scenario what you mentioned. Things have been changed vastly. Many small cities are covered with fiber broadband as ISPs making their broadband available and managed by LCOs.
No its not completely like that..not all rural areas are connected with broadband. laying or setting up fiber infrastructure is not as easy or simple as installing Mobile tower. India is not living only in Urban area stil most population in india live in rural areas where in most part you still cant get Broadband service like urban areas. even in big Cities not all part connected with Broadband connection . broadband connection is not like Mobile tower which you get everywhere you go.

Any idea about Postpaid?
No news on postpaid yet, like i said earlier there won't be any hike as they're already costly. 499 + taxes is the minimum plan offered by Airtel.

Jio new all in one plan 1776 with 336 days validity and daily 2GB data and unlimited calls to Jio and 1000 ICU minutes
