We don't want only Audio :k
We want Audio + video :k

Meanwhile star may add tamil feed in ss1 & ss1 hd so we won't miss anything :k

Any questions ??
Why will star add Tamil feed on English channel when it already has a Tamil channel for the whole purpose?

Star was the Best Placed to Leverage Digital Rights, thus Combined Bid made sense.... Sony should work on Sony LIV or have an efficient tie-up with Amazon or Netflix, otherwise they will continue to lose when Combined bids are accepted for Indian Cricket Rights, EPL and Others mega Event....
Revenue for Digital Space is about to increase manifold and Sony is not well placed in terms of same....

Really bad news, I will miss Sony Max IPL broadcast, Sony should have retain this rights.

Now it will leads to monopoly of one channel, and at the end customer will suffer to pay more.

This Is How Much Bid Everyone Made.

Don't think Sony should be too disappointed by this outcome for 10 yrs by paying 8200Cr they had rights n earned good n now spending double of it n get just 5 yrs rights doesn't make that sense .
If they r smart they should bid aggressively for Indian Cricketing rights once contract expires with star 2018-19 this will mean Sony will have Indian, South Africa, West Indies, UAE, Sri Lanka n Zimbabwe which will leave Star only with England n Aussies rights along with ICC events:happy:v

Sony's India TV bid is more than 11000 crore where as star bid is only 6200 crore. So even Sony think that it's totally worth the price to pay 11000 crore just for 5 years, so in that sense Star hits the Jackpot as by paying extra 5000 crore only they gets all rights globally.
