The next cycle of Indian Premier League (IPL) media rights could be for a period of five and not 10 years.

The new ‘Invitation To Tender (ITT)’, to be brought out immediately after the IPL 2017 final, will now be for a collective period of just five years for broadcast and digital both, the Times of India reported.

Its Star revolution as SPN has media rights chance high :u

It's Star vs Sony Network. Sony network is growing faster these days. They must have an eye on Indian cricket team rights as well. With acquisition of Ten Network they are now in more power.
