how did you remove black background from subtitles ?

It is like that by default on laptop, no option to change it.

Only in app the subtitles have black colour background...

Sunnxt and zee5 customer care says that live tv channels in apps show exactly the same content as their DTH/cable channels. They say both versions of the channels are same even when they are telecasting content for which they don't have digital rights.
