Airtel Putting Lots Of Pressure On Distributors For AirFiber, Few Of My Close Distributors Left Already
They're following Jio's path. It'll be easy for them to install a connection faster and expand the market without worrying about OFC laying which is very lengthy and expensive process in that way they can be in competition with everyone and everywhere especially with Jio. Also to utilize the spectrum that they've invested for.

AirFiber ping/latency reduced considerably in last few days. Getting between 30-40 ms instead of earlier 60-70 ms.
If it is not an area / tower specific change then it's a great news for Airtel AirFiber customers because low ping can provide overall better internet experience.

Jio AirFiber is already providing such average (30-40 ms) latency. And Jio AirFiber Plus/Max is giving optical fiber like low latency.

I have a friend who is using Jio AirFiber, and wants to shift to Airtel, but 5G is not available in his area. Hence he will stay with Jio to see if their services improve.

He says he is facing buffering and slow speeds.

Apart from that i feel JioAirFiber Max uses a high gain ODU/Anternna that reduces noise, hence the reason for fiber like low latency.

I hope Airtel gets better in its AirFiber tech, and provides the same latency in future by refining its infrastructure and hardware support.

If Airtel launches SA in 5G, then they can match low latency with Jio.
