Vivo V30 Pro is available at 34999 on Flipkart in BBD sales. Absolute killer deal if you want photography at killer pricing. Vivo V30 Pro have some problem, but now can be ignored at this price tag if you look at camera.

CMF Phone (1) is the one to get. It's surprisingly good for the price. Otherwise you can pay ₹1000 extra and get Moto G85 for ₹15,999 which has a charger in box.

for high usage, go for iphone 15 or 16 instead of S24, iphone13 instead of S23, Samsung M series phones are meant for moderate usage.
Like I said earlier, I bought A55 for the Samsung's OneUI sw (incl updates) and DualSim + Memory card support. But modem in Exynos 1480 is trash.

All the iPhones you have recommended has just USB 2.0 speeds (incl vanilla 16), which is NOT OK for phones above 20k, imho. I had a pretty bad experience trying to transfer all my flac files to A55 (from my dualOTG pen drive).

Everyone is saying Apple's eco-system is a trap and will make you buy more costly products from them in the long run. If I know there is a trap in a place, I totally avoid visiting there. Simple.

Yeah, Apple's UI and software support is good, so is Samsung's S Series (incl FE ones) and Pixel phones (incl a series). but Samsung phones have in-built (non-announcing) automatic call recorder. So I am left with Samsung option only, mostly.

Even though money is not a problem for me now, I hesitate a lot to spend around 50k for a phone, especially for my own use. This is the problem with someone who reached the top, right from the bottom of the pyramid. I never forget my childhood days, when three meals a day used to be a Luxury. But the Case is totally different for my better-half though. She loves higher end phones only. I buy her whatever phone she wants, since she maintains it very well and upgrade only when it breaks.
Want to use phone for low to moderate usage like social media, YT, WhatsApp, etc with ZERO gaming. Will you recommend it to me then?
I bought the 256GB version of A55 for Rs35k and got the tempered glass, back case and back transparent sticker on glass for free (they said my card has some extra offer of Rs500). Let me first list all the good things of A55:-
(i) Battery life is good and phone doesn't over heat.
(ii) Display is good. (Don't forget to switch off the "Darken wallpaper in Dark Mode" option)
(iii) Phone looks and feels super premium.
(iv) Dual Sim + memory card option, thanks to eSim & Hybrid Slot.
(v) For most of the time, UI is smooth.
(vi) Camera is good enough (still I prefer S21 fe pics)

Now let me list out the negatives:-
(i) Virtual Proximity sensor is BAD, period. It is irritating during voice calls.
(ii) Weight is very high.
(iii) Flat corner is a pain to hold, even with case. My S21 fe rounded corner is heavenly.
(iv) 5G coverage is very very very very bad.
(v) Even WiFi coverage is not so good.
(vi) Signal falls back to 4G often, even in decent 5G coverage areas. (And eats your 4G data balance, though u may have UL 5G)
(vii) Sometimes (at most twice a day) you may need to toggle "Airplane mode" to force the 5G data to work, even in good 5G coverage areas.
(viii) Even LTE+ performance is not so good, even comparing sub 10k moto phones.
(ix) The Glass back, even though looks great, is a liability and you must baby it always, especially with a case.
(x) Just USB 2.0 speeds (my S21 fe has 3.0 speeds)

These modem compromises are OK for a phone under 15k, like Samsung M35. But for 35k, these are simply no-no, imho. Rest, you have to decide for yourself bro.
Get S23+ instead if you want good battery.
But is it on offer bro? Price of Samsung high-end phones are plain rip-off without any offer (like in Vanilla S23 now).
