Good News Flipkart Big Billion Days 2024 - From 27 September 2024

Bought 15pro for 77k today.Delivery expected by 1st Oct

The Phone has reached my nearest hub 2 days back,wonder what they will do with it for next 3 days

Finally, within 48 hrs, my product has been delivered.

It was out for delivery as soon as today 7.30 am. And delivery happeend a few mins back.

So here is how it went.... (Product:- iPhone 15 Plus)

1. I asked the delivery person to come inside and open the package at a safe place, like on the sofa. He did so and obliged. A family member took a video of the entire unboxing/open box process, while i checked for any damage, scratches, etc on the device. Also checked for other items like cable, etc.

2. I verified the serial number on the box with apple coverage and it showed that no details availble / product has not been activated.

3. Model No checked if it starts with "M", and "HN" means its a new unit and Indian Unit. Manufactering date was of 08/24 (August 2024)

4. After that the delivery person took photos of the device for record perpose in different angles.

5. I booted the phone to check if its powered on, and it did with 85% battery charge.

Thats it, there was not much time to browse the software as the delivery person told me he has to leave for other deliveries.

Over all 2 day delivery is a great thing from flipkart during BBD sale. And yes the delivery person was also coperative.

While flipkart charges extra as secure packaging fees, there was nothing secured except was the security seal on the phone box. There was no bubble wraping, no extra protection. As you can see the outer box condition.

This handling and packaging charges is just a gimmick for extracting more money from customers.Even likes of BB have started charging packaging fee.I asked them what exactly it is and their response was on lines of that this was towards ensuring that you get the correct items.This was such a laughable response.

Flipkart always delivers first. Even within 12hrs to my village since the warehouse is 50km away. They charge secure fee for the open box deliveries which is too time taking.

But that's not the way to package when a customer buys expensive products

Also warranty details? iOS version out of the box?
