@Bapun bro, whats the update on your end ? You had said that Airtel has entered your locality as well ???
They have stopped doing work in my locality after cabling was done. Now covering other nearby areas and even in some areas they have installed new FAT boxes.

I am expecting them to install FAT boxes in my area soon as they mentioned it should be live by the end of this month. 👀

I noticed something interesting: the newly installed FAT boxes are smaller in size than the previous Airtel FAT boxes I've seen in other places, like on YouTube. It seems Airtel may have recently changed the box design to a more compact size.
Something about this:

This time the new FAT boxes are the regular ones that we see on YouTube. I enquired about it with the Airtel construction people and they said it depends on the vendor who supplies the materials.

I expect you to get the connection before me :ok2:

One thing to notice that airtel is a very old player compare to jio but still airtel doesn't persist in all areas when jio is available in majority areas
Yes. Airtel Broadband was not even present on all Indian states, leave smaller or medium cities apart until a few years back. Now they are giving tough competition to Jio when Jio gave up on their Fiber expansion and shifted focus towards AirFiber. 😄

Its like the Rabbit and Tortoise story. ;)
Whoever becomes the winner (read as more profitable brand) it doesn't matter to me as a customer. One thing I must say, I can not thank enough Jio for bringing Jio Fiber to my locality because it has been a life saver for me till now because local ISPs including BSNL/Railwire were terrible.

Similarly, I wouldn't be able to get more than 100 Mbps speed plans with AirFiber, so again having Jio optical fiber feasibility is a major benefit for me. 🙌

Same here. As someone who was tired of RailWire's disconnection for hours every day, JioFiber was a big difference. Not just it remain connected all the time, it also rarely gives slow speed in downloads.

RailWire people were extremely disrespectful too, literally told me while shouting that I am expecting too much from a home broadband connection by paying just 1200 per month for 100 Mbps (used to get 0-10 Mbps often, when it was alive) and I should pay them 70-80 thousands per month, if I want good speed - but the disconnect issue will still be there. JioFiber employees on the other hand won't talk poorly with customers, because there will be repercussions for them. So, yeah, definitely a huge improvement.

Even Jio 4G made a difference for me, while the speed remained poor, the browsing experience was a lot better and I was able to play multiplayer games with ease on it.

@Digital Mastermind @Bapun Aap dono ke yaha Airtel wiring kaisi daal raha hai. I mean underground wiring kar raha hai ya Overhead?

T: How is Airtel doing the wiring at both of your places? Is it underground wiring or overhead?
