A new leak suggests that ChatGPT may soon introduce a feature called the Context Connector, enhancing the capabilities of its premium version, ChatGPT Plus. While the free version of ChatGPT offers impressive functionality, it’s the ChatGPT Plus subscription that unlocks the chatbot’s full potential.

The Context Connector feature allows seamless integration with cloud storage platforms. This means users will no longer have to download files from their online drives and then upload them to the platform manually.

According to Twitter user @legit_rumors, the Context Connector feature will be accessible in ChatGPT 4 under Settings > Connected apps. Here, users will find options to connect their Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive Personal, and Business accounts. Once connected, users can easily access files from these platforms directly within the chatbot interface.

This feature streamlines the process of accessing online files, making it more convenient for users to interact with ChatGPT. With just a few clicks, users can search their cloud drives and attach files to the chatbot.

Once attached, ChatGPT instantly recognizes the files, allowing users to extract specific data by dropping queries to the chatbot. This seamless integration of cloud storage files enhances the overall user experience and productivity. However, it’s important to note that the Context Connector feature is not yet publicly available in ChatGPT 4. OpenAI is actively working on implementing this feature, and an official rollout is expected soon.
