In October 2017 state-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nagar Limited (BSNL) had launched a limited period scheme offering up to 60 percent off on advance payment of the rental under select postpaid plans. Under the ‘BSNL Loot Lo’ offer, those paying in advance for 3, 6 and 12 months got discounts. The offer was relaunched in March 2018 for a brief period of 25 days. BSNL has now once again brought back the BSNL Loot Lo Offer this time around however with lesser discounts compared to earlier.
While there has no been official circular or announcement released on the same, we came across a recent tweet from BSNL Assam wherein the offer is being publicized. According to the BSNL Assam tweet, postpaid customers can avail discounts ranging from 5% up to 35% depending upon the plan. The super offer is only for a limited period. BSNL is this time offering around 25% lesser discount than the previous time.
However, unlike last time BSNL this time is offering discounts only on 12 months & 6-month plans. Discounts on 3 months plan have been discontinued this time. Under the Loot Lo offer customers buying a new postpaid mobile connection with an advance rental will get unbelievable discounts, security deposit waivers, and activation charges waiver. BSNL entry-level plans Rs 99 and Rs 149 postpaid mobile plans remain out of the scheme.

BSNL Rs 225 Loot Lo Offer
Customer’s subscribing to BSNL’s Rs 225 plan under the offer will get a discount up to Rs 405. Under the 12-month advance rental, the customer will be charged Rs 2295 instead of Rs 2700 under the Loot Lo offer – a discount of Rs 405 or 15% according to BSNL. Those paying the advance rental for a period of six months will get a discount of Rs 68 or 5%. They will be charged Rs 1283 instead of Rs 1350.
BSNL Rs 399 Loot Lo Offer
Those taking the Rs 399 plan with the 12-month advance rental option will get a discount of Rs 958 or 20%. Instead of the actual price of Rs 4788, customers will pay a price of Rs 3830 under the BSNL Loot Lo offer. Similarly, those opting for the 6 months advance rental will get a discount of Rs 192 or 8%. Instead of the actual price of Rs 2394, customers will pay a price of Rs 2202 under the offer.
BSNL Rs 525 Loot Lo Offer
Those opting for the 12-month advance rental will have to shell out a discounted Rs 5040, instead of the actual price of Rs 6300 – a discount of Rs 1260 or 20%. The discount will be Rs 252 or 8% for the 6-month advance rental option. Instead of Rs 3150, customers will pay a discounted sum of Rs 2898.
BSNL Rs 725 Loot Lo Offer
BSNL is offering a discount of Rs 1740 or 20% to customers choosing the 12-month advance rental option under the Rs 725 plan. Under the offer, customers will pay a discounted price of Rs 6960 against the actual price of Rs 8700. Those offering to pay an advance rental of 6 months will get a discount of Rs 348 or 8%. Customers will have to pay Rs 4002 against the actual price of Rs 4350.
BSNL Rs 799 Loot Lo Offer
If you subscribe to Rs 799 plan, you will have to pay Rs 7191 instead of the actual price of Rs 9588 for paying advance rent of 12 months – a discount of Rs 2397 or 25%. Under the six-month advance rental option, the customers will get a discount of 10% or Rs 479. Customers will pay Rs 4315 instead of the actual price of Rs 4794.
BSNL Rs 1125 Loot Lo Offer
Those opting for the 12-month advance rental option for Rs 1125 plan will get a discount of Rs 4050 or 30%. Instead of the actual price of Rs 13500, customers will pay a discounted Rs 9450. Customers taking up the 6-month advance rental option will get a discount of Rs 810 or 12%. Instead of Rs 6750, customers will pay a discounted Rs 5940.
BSNL Rs 1525 Loot Lo Offer
Customer’s opting for a 12-month advance rental option on BSNL Rs 1525 plan will get a discount of Rs 6405 or 35%. Instead of Rs 18300, they will pay a discounted Rs 11895. Similarly, customers opting for the 6-month advance rental option will get a discount of Rs 1373 or 15%. Instead of Rs 9150, they will pay a discounted Rs 7778.
