Government-owned telecommunications service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new affordable prepaid recharge priced at Rs 87. It comes with calling, data, SMS and a 14-days validity.
Prepaid users recharging with the Rs 87 plan will get unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 1GB daily high-speed data for a validity of 14 days or 2 weeks. In addition to this, BSNL is also offering a Hardy Mobile Games service subscription.
Hardy Mobile Games service is owned by One97 Communications which is the parent company of Paytm. BSNL customers on the Rs 87 plan would get access to various games including sports, casual and arcade via this bundled device.
This new plan is available across all states in the country on a pan India basis. Unlimited calling includes all local and STD voice calls at home, local service area, and national roaming including on the MTNL network in Mumbai and Delhi.
Lagging far behind other operators who are testing the 5G network, BSNL is yet to roll out its 4G services across the country. The state-owned teleco is expected to begin 4G services in India by the end of 2022.
