BSNL launches new Rs. 499 broadband plan

Rs. 499 Fiber Basic broadband plan offers 40 Mbps internet speed and comes with a 3.3 TB of fair usage policy.

Telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new Rs. 499 Fiber Basic broadband plan. Earlier, BSNL offered the Rs. 449 broadband plan under the name Fiber Basic. However, the company has now changed the name of the Rs. 449 plan to Fiber Basic NEO and launched a new broadband plan at Rs 499 called Fiber Basic.

The Rs. 499 Fiber Basic broadband plan offers 40 Mbps internet connection speed and comes with a 3.3 TB of fair usage policy (FUP) and unlimited calling facility. Post FUP, the internet speed is reduced to 4 Mbps with access to unlimited data. According to a report, BSNL broadband users will get a 90 percent (up to Rs. 500) discount on their first month’s bill.

The Rs. 449 Fiber Basic NEO broadband plan offers 30Mbps internet connection speed and comes with 3.3 TB of FUP. Post consumption of FUP, the internet speed is reduced to 4 Mbps with access to unlimited data. It also offers unlimited calling. As per reports, BSNL is also providing its customers a 90 percent (up to Rs. 500) discount on their first month’s bill.
