BSNL Kerala launches Mithram Plus plan at Rs 109

BSNL Kerala has launched a new prepaid plan named Mithram Plus plan for its subscribers. The plan was launched yesterday.

As per the listing on the BSNL Kerala website, the plan voucher costs Rs.109 and is valid for 90 days. It offers freebies of 250 minutes per day on-net and off-net calls, and 5 GB data for 20 days. Freebies are only applicable for validity extension or migration.

After freebies, on-net local and STD calls will cost 1.2 paise per second, and off-net local and STD calls will cost 1.5 paise per second. On-net local and STD Video calls will cost Re. 1 per minute, and off-net local and STD video calls will cost Rs. 1.5 per minute.

Local on-net SMS will cost 60 paise per SMS, local off-net SMS will cost 70 paise per SMS, national on-net SMS will cost 70 paise per SMS, and national off-net SMS will cost 80 paise per SMS. International SMS costs Rs. 5 per SMS and data usage cost 25 paise per MB.

Roaming charges for on-net local and STD voice calls will cost 1.2 paise per second, and off-net local and STD voice calls will cost 1.5 paise per second. There is no charge on incoming voice calls.

Roaming charges for on-net local and STD video calls will cost Rs. 1 per minute, off-net local and STD video calls will cost Rs. 1.5 per minute. Incoming video calls will cost Rs. 1 per minute. Local SMS will cost 25 paise per SMS, and STD SMS will cost 38 paise per SMS.

Recently, BSNL Kerala had revised the tariffs and reduced the validity of several prepaid plans. Earlier this month BSNL had launched new international roaming plans for UAESingapore, and Mauritius in the Kerala circle that offers calling and data benefits with validity up to 7 days.
