Earlier this month, HMD Global unveiled Nokia 2.3 at an event in Cairo, Egypt. Yesterday, the company has officially launched the smartphone in India. The phone is available in three color variants – Cyan Green, Sand, and Charcoal.

Nokia 2.3 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS capacitive touchscreen with a waterdrop notch. The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22 (12 nm) chipset paired with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. It also supports Micro SD card of up to 512 GB.

Nokia 2.3 features a dual-rear camera setup of 13 MP main camera and 2 MP depth sensor. It has a 5 MP front-facing camera which supports biometric face unlock. The device comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button. Nokia 2.3 has a 4000 mAh non-removable battery. Nokia claims that the phone can last up to 2 days on a single charge.

The phone runs Android Pie (9.0) out of the box, but Nokia promises Android 10 upgrade soon. Being an Android One device, Nokia 2.3 will receive guaranteed two years of major software upgrade and three years of a monthly security update.

New and existing Jio customers will get benefits worth Rs. 7200, if they buy Nokia 2.3 and subscribe to Rs. 249 or Rs. 349 prepaid plan. Benefits of Rs. 7200 includes a cashback of Rs. 2200 from Jio, Cleartrip vouchers worth Rs. 3000 and a discount of Rs. 2000 from Zoomcar.

Nokia 2.3 is priced at Rs. 8,199 in India and will go on sale starting December 27. Nokia is offering a one-year replacement guaranty on the device for those who buy the device on or before March 31, 2020. The offer is only applicable to manufacturing defects and hardware failures.

    • Try contacting d2h Customer Care on Twitter. If that doesn’t work either then escalate the matter to Nodal Officer.
