BSNL allocated MSC codes for commercial launch of 4G services in Punjab LSA
The MSC codes allocation was made yesterday by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) in consideration of BSNL’s request.
State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been allocated MSC codes for Punjab LSA. The allocation was made by the Telecom Department yesterday in consideration of B SNL’s request.
As per DoT, the allocation has been made as a special case for the commercial launch of 4G services. The allocation won’t be treated as precedence for any further allocation. BSNL has been allocated MSC codes 68287-68288 for Punjab LSA.
The Telecom Department has instructed BSNL to submit the VLR certificate and utilization data to assess the effective utilization of numbering resources.
