Amazon Prime Video India announced the exclusive premiere of Telugu suspense thriller Nishabdham starring Anushka Shetty, R Madhvan and Anjali in lead roles. The film is also titled Silence in Tamil and Malayalam is scheduled to premiere on October 2.
The film follows Sakshi played by Anushka Shetty, a talented deaf and mute artist who gets entagled in a criminal investigation when she accidentally witnesses a tragic incidnent at an haunted villa. A group of police detectives lists a suspect ranging from a ghost to a missing young girl.
Rana Daggubati and Vijay Sethupati has released the trailer today in Telugu and Tamil respectively. The film joins the likes of V, C U Soon, Penguin, Ponmangal Vandaal. None of these direct to digital films including Gulabo Sitabo haven’t been critically acclaimed and will hope for a good result with this film.
The film produced by TG Viswa Prasad, Kona Venkat and directed by Hemant Madhukar also stars Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju and Srinivas Avasarala in pivotal roles. This movie marks as the Indian debut of Michael Madsen.
