Amazon Prime Video India has announced eight new titles hitting the service this August. Emmy nominated and BAFTA award-winning BBC America’s dramedy Killing Eve which lost its streaming home in India due to HOOQ shutdown making its debut on the platform on August 7 and Emmy nominated Hulu comedy Ramy’s second season to premiere on August 14.
10 part Indian original Bandish Bandits created by Amirtpal Singh Bindra(Band Baaja Baaraat) and directed by Anand Tiwari (Love Per Square Foot) starring Ritwik Bhowmik as Radhe and Shreya Chaudary as Tammana featuring music from Shankar-Eshaan-Loy to premiere on August 4. Bear Grylls hosted 10-part adventure series The World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji to premiere on August 14.
On film side Vin Diesel’s superhero film Bloodshot based on Valiant Comics character of the same to stream from August 12. Amazon Original romantic drama film Chemical Hearts by Richard Tanne(Southside with You) starring Austin Abrams (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) and Lili Reinhart (Riverdale) to debut on August 21.
