Vu Technologies, on Wednesday, has launched Vu Cinema TV, a new range of 4K LED TV in India. Vu Cinema TV is available in three screen size options- 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch, priced at Rs. 26,999, Rs. 29,999, and Rs. 33,999 respectively.
The Vu Cinema TV sports a 4K (3840 x 2160) panel with brightness up to 500 nits. Vu’s Piexilium glass technology enhances light reflection by 40 percent that elaborates picture brightness. The display features Dolby Vision, High Dynamic Range (HDR) 10, and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG). It also supports digital noise reduction, MPEG noise reduction, adaptive brightness, and dynamic backlight control.
The Vu Cinema TV is equipped with a 40W front-firing soundbar. It has two 15W master speakers and two 5W tweeters. It supports Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus technology. External speaker connection is possible through TV, ARC, SPDIF, or Bluetooth. The Vu ACTiVoice remote has a dedicated button for Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Google Play, and Google Voice assistant button.
For connectivity, the TV supports Bluetooth 5.0, and has Chromecast built-in. It has three HDMI ports that support 4K at 60Hz with HDCP version 2.2. It also has two USB ports, earphone jack, ethernet port, AV input, RF, and digital audio out.
Vu Cinema TV is powered by a quad-core processor paired with 1.5 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. It runs Android Pie (9.0) out of the box. VU Cinema TV will be available for purchase starting on January 18, 2020, on Amazon India.
