Yes, you read the title right. Vodafone Idea, in another flip flop, has now reintroduced the Double Data offer that was discontinued from multiple telecom circles with restricted availability in certain circles. The offer is now again pan-India however with different offerings based on the cities.
According to the listings on the Vodafone Idea website, the Double Data offer is back in all the discontinued cities and now available in all 22 telecom circles.
Vodafone Idea took down the earlier notice informing about restricted availability yesterday morning. However, we have noticed the reentry of Double Data offer in all telecom circles this morning only.
Vodafone Idea had earlier stated, “Double data offer is applicable in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai, Kolkata, West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Rajasthan and Jammu, and Kashmir.”
However, now all 22 circles have the offer on the table. Andhra Pradesh and UP East are now offering Double Data offer on 5 prepaid plans. Madhya Pradesh is just offering on 3 prepaid plans now.

Bihar, Chennai, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra & Goa, Madhya Pradesh, North East, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, and UP West are now offering Double Data Offer on Rs 299, Rs 499, and Rs 699 prepaid plans.

Vodafone Idea in mid-April had first restricted the Double Data offer to only 14 telecom circles removing it from Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Kerala, Maharashtra & Goa, North East, Punjab, and UP West circles. This was followed by the removal of the Double Data offer from another 5 telecom circles. It has also removed the Double Data offer from its Rs 249 prepaid plan limiting the Double Data offer to just 2 prepaid plans back then.
This was in turn followed by the launch of the Double Data offer on Vodafone Idea’s Rs 299 prepaid plan, Rs 449 prepaid plan, and Rs 699 prepaid plan. It remains to be seen as to how many flip flops Vodafone Idea has left in its offerings.
