Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has launched the Vivo Y27 smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.64-inch full-HD+ display, MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, a 50-megapixel primary sensor, and a 5000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. Vivo Y27 runs on the Android 13 operating system out of the box with Funtouch OS 13 customization on top.

The Vivo Y27 features a 6.64-inch full HD+ (2388 × 1080 pixels) IPS display. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 (12nm) chipset paired with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card of up to 1TB via a dedicated slot for expandable storage.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y27 sports a dual rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, it has an 8-megapixel sensor on the waterdrop notch display. The phone packs a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging technology.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, dual 4G VoLTE, GPS/ GLONASS/ QZSS, a 3.5mm headphone port, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, magnetometer, ambient light, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 164.06mm × 76.17mm × 8.07mm and weighs 190 grams.
Pricing and availability
The Vivo Y27 is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the sole 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Burgundy Black and Garden Green color options and will be available via the Vivo India e-store, Flipkart, Amazon, and retail stores in India.
