Vi (Vodafone Idea) has recently brought back its Rs 109 prepaid plan on the shelves. The prepaid plan was initially introduced last year in September 2020 ahead of the integration of Vodafone Idea. The prepaid plan was available on a pan-India basis prior to the unveiling of ‘Vi’ but taken off shelves immediately post unveiling.
The prepaid plan has made a comeback in recent days and is available on a pan-India basis. Notably, Vi had back then also introduced Rs 169 prepaid plan which remains unavailable for the time being in any telecom circle.
Vi’s Rs 109 prepaid plan offers truly unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls to any network, 1GB high-speed data, 300 local and national SMS, and 20 days service validity. The prepaid plan only offers teleco benefits without any non-teleco benefits.
Vi in recent past has also expanded the availability of its Rs 99 prepaid plan on a pan-India basis. The difference between the two prepaid plans simply being 2 days extra validity and 200 extra local and national SMS at the expense of Rs 10.
