Samsung has quietly launched the Galaxy M13 smartphone after it leaked a few days ago revealing its design and some specifications. This is a successor to the Galaxy M12 which was unveiled last year. 

Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M13 features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD Infinity-V display with Full HD+ resolution. It measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 8.4mm in dimensions and weighs about 192 grams. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Samsung Knox support.

The device is powered by an octa-core Exynos 850 5G processor paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. It runs Android 12-based One UI Core 4.1 out of the box. 

There is a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. An 8-megapixel f/2.2 snapper is present at the front for selfies and video calls. 

It packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. Connectivity features include a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. It also has Dolby Atmos audio. 

Pricing and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy M13 has been listed on Samsung’s website as an affordable smartphone, however, the company is yet to reveal its price. It will be available in Europe in Deep Green, Orange Copper, and Light Blue colour options with two storage variants 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB.
