Last month, Reliance Jio added a new complimentary data pack in which it offered up to 8 GB high-speed data for free over 4 days. Now, the telecom service provider is once again offering complimentary Jio Data Pack to random prepaid users.

The Jio Data Pack offers unlimited 2 GB per day high-speed data for four days. After reaching the daily data limit, speed will get throttled to 64 Kbps for the rest of the day.

However, if you have an active Jio pack, the data usage will start deducting from it, after the consumption of the complimentary Jio data pack. The pack does not include any voice or SMS benefits. The pack is valid for 4 days from the day of activation.

Senior Editor Esmail Beguwala on Monday spotted a Jio number with Rs 98 prepaid plan getting the Jio 2GB data pack. The Jio Data Pack on that number got 4 days validity upto today. OnlyTech community forum members reported crediting of the pack on Tuesday, and Wednesday as well.

The telecom operator has randomly added the pack into Jio prepaid user’s accounts. Many users have already got the pack, while many did not get the complimentary data pack.

To view if the pack has been credited to your account, open the MyJio app and go to My Plans. You can also view the plan details on the Jio website. If the pack has been added, you will see Jio Data Pack along with its expiry date and time.
