Reliance Jio yesterday raised its tariffs and unveiled new plans which have seen a hike of up to 30-35%. However, the telecom operators’ new plans still remain cheaper than its rivals Airtel and Vodafone Idea.

The company has claimed that it has reaffirmed its customer-first promise by having the most affordable plan in the industry. It also said that its plans offer up to 300% more benefits to the Jio consumers. A comparison of Jio’s pack with rival operators pack’s confirms the fact.

The 149 plan now at Rs 199 is 33.6% costlier and offers 4 days extra validity and 700 more mins of off-net calling. It is cheaper than rivals by Rs 50 or 25.1%.
