Reliance Jio download speed dips to 15.4 Mbps in February 2021: TRAI

Reliance Jio continued to lead in terms of mean download speed while Vodafone India continued to lead in terms of mean upload speed.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) earlier this month released the average of the data speed samples collected from various consumers of the TSPs on a crowdsourcing basis during speed test initiated by them over the last month through the MySpeed app. Reliance Jio continued to lead in terms of mean download speed while Vodafone India continued to lead in terms of mean upload speed.

Reliance Jio download speed dips to 15.4 Mbps in February 2021: TRAI

Reliance Jio’s mean download speed stood at 15.4 Mbps in February 2021, down from 17.9 Mbps in January 2021. Vodafone India’s mean download speed stood at 9.2 Mbps in February 2021, up from 8.7 Mbps in January 2021. Idea Cellular’s mean download speed stood at 8 Mbps in February 2021, down from 8.2 Mbps in January 2021. Bharti Airtel’s mean download speed stood at 7.1 Mbps in February 2021, unchanged from January 2021.

Vodafone India’s mean upload speed stood at 7.2 Mbps in February 2021, up from 6.7 Mbps in January 2021. Idea Cellular’s mean upload speed stood at 6.4 Mbps in February 2021, up from 6 Mbps in January 2021. Reliance Jio’s mean upload speed stood at 3.6 Mbps in February 2021, down from 3.9 Mbps in January 2021. Bharti Airtel’s mean upload speed stood at 4.1 Mbps in February 2021, down from 4.2 Mbps in January 2021.
