Reliance Jio bags additional MSC codes for Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra LSA

RJIL gets additional MSC codes to meet 1 million subscribers demand each in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) yesterday in consideration to the requests of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited allocated additional MSC codes to the telecom service provider for Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra LSA. The Telecom Department in a letter to Reliance Jio conveyed the allotment of MSC codes to meet one million subscribers demand in each circle.

In Madhya Pradesh, Reliance Jio has been granted ACCESS-MSC code 93430-93439 to meet one million subscribers demand. In Maharastra, Reliance Jio has been granted ACCESS-MSC code 87660, 87666, 93090,93092, 93093,93094, 87998, 84688-84700 to meet one million subscribers demand.

The ACCESS-MSC code allocated by DoT to Reliance Jio can be used by the telecom service provider except for the active subscribers of Reliance Communications/Reliance Telecom and other port out subscribers.

In consideration to the requests of M/s Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, the undersigned is directed to convey the allotment of MSC code. Aforementioned Series may be used by TSP except for the active subscribers of M/s Rcom/RTL and other port out subscribers (if any). In case of errors/omissions, if any, the same may be brought to the notice of the undersigned immediately,” said DoT in its letter.
